Sadie Darlene Armstrong, 59, suffered a heart attack on June 20, 2020 at the Armstrong Lake lot where she loved fishing and riding her four wheeler, she was later pronounced deceased at the United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 23, 2020. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 25 at 2:00 PM at the Cowboy Church Gatherin'. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Sadie was born on September 9, 1960 in Graham to Robert Pless Davis and Lois Rae Johnson Davis. She married Billy Armstrong in Graham on July 27, 1979 by Rev. J.W. Hill (Papa Hill). Sadie always found joy in life, she could be found many days down on the dock with her meticulously packed little red fishing wagon. Wherever she was, her beloved 11 year old black lab, Lucky, was not far behind. She got him at only 6 weeks old, and they were quite a pair. He loved to chase behind her little wagon out to the dock, and spend the days by her side, patiently waiting to see what she would catch.
Sadie is survived by her husband, Billy Armstrong of Graham; daughters Dorothy McCauley and husband Kyle of Olney, and Catherin Noble and husband LZ of Wichita Falls; son Neal Armstrong and wife Ashley of Graham; father, Robert Pless "RP" Davis of Graham; grandchildren, Cody James McCauley, Harley Marie McCauley, Sadie Marie McCauley, Hollas Kyle McCauley, Damien Ross Armstrong, Austin Dale Armstrong, and Jasper Faith Armstrong; and brothers, Tony Davis, Ray Davis, and Nathan Davis, all of Graham.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Rae Johnson Davis, and a grandson, Cylbe Jay Noble.
Visitation will be held Wednesday at 6 PM in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
