Samual Jay Brown

Samual Jay Brown, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in Dallas. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Tabernacle in Eliasville.

Samual was born September 9, 1956 in Barstow, California to the late Freddy Maryland and Dixie (Calvin) Brown.

He loved spending time with family and friends. Sam was an avid motorcycle rider, gun enthusiast and outdoorsman. He was larger than life and loved big. He loved open skies, trails and exploring. Sam loved to laugh and told the most ”horrible” jokes, swapping lies and telling stories was something he did often. Had a heart of gold and never met a stranger.

Survivors include: The love of his life, Dee Ann Brown of Eliasville. Brothers; Allen Brown of New Mexico, Fred Brown of Oklahoma, and Claude Brown and wife, Jamie of Oklahoma; sisters, Oneta Tate and husband, Thad of Oklahoma and Libby Estep and husband, Charles of Texas.
