Shane Weatherbee

Shane Weatherbee, 40, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in Graham. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Eastside Church of Christ. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Shane was born December 7, 1973 in Graham to Darrell and Lana (Forehand) Weatherbee. He graduated from Graham High School and received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Tarleton State University. Shane was Vice President of Weatherbee Real Estate and Construction, Inc. and was a very active member of the community. Shane was a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors, a member of the Rotary Club of Graham, Texas Realtor, Eastside Church of Christ, and served in numerous civic activities. He was a member of Graham Country Club and an avid golfer, loved trap shooting and pistol competition.

Survivors include: parents, Darrell and Lana Weatherbee of Graham; sister, Shana Wolfe and husband, Troy of Graham; nephew, Easton Shane Wolfe of Graham; niece, Lexi Ann Wolfe of Graham; grandfather, MK Weatherbee of Graham; aunts, Reba Fox and husband James, Janice Evans and son Brandon Evans and wife, Tamra; uncle, Glenn Weatherbee and wife, Jane; several loving cousins, friends, and shelter adopted dog, Lucky.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Garland and Joyce Forehand and Flo Weatherbee and uncles, Paul Weatherbee and Norman Evans.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
