Sharon Moore

Sharon Moore, 68, passed away at her home on Possum Kingdom Lake, Wednesday March 15, 2023. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday March 20, 2023 at Eastside Church of Christ.

Sharon was born December 25, 1954 in Amarillo to the late Ethel Letrice (Saunders) Butler and W.H. “Bill” Butler. She married Steve Moore May 23, 1975 in Houston. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2017. They moved to Graham in 1975 helping to run White’s Auto Store and then establishing Moore Metal Buildings. Sharon was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.  She and Steve enjoyed spending time with their friends from Eastside. Sharon studied design & jewelry making. She had a furniture store for some time on the Graham square. She had a skill for making things beautiful and she and Steve designed and built their home at PK Lake.  

Survivors include; daughters Leah Ellis of Los Fresnos and Jana Stewart and husband Pyne of Possum Kingdom Lake; two grandchildren, Evelyn and Finn Ellis; siblings, Susan Butler and Tammy Bertrand of Fort Worth.
