Shawna Bradshaw Carter

Shawna Bradshaw Carter, 63, passed away at her home Monday February 10, 2025. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 15, 2025 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 Shawna was born April 11, 1961 in Hobbs, NM to the late Ida Faye (Mensch) Bradshaw and Kenneth Wayne Bradshaw. She married the love of her life Richard Carter June 23, 2000 in Graham, TX.

 Shawna loved her family to the fullest. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into them every day. She was well known throughout the Graham community, having worked in and for the public since she was just 15 years old. Shawna was an assistant sales secretary at Southern Bleacher in Graham for almost 20 years. 

 Shawna was the pillar of her family, always taking care of everything and everyone with a true servant’s heart. She was the first to show up and the last to leave, the best of friends to many, and the greatest mom and Nana. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds—she never met a stranger, whether human or animal. Her beloved dogs, Duke and Lilly, were just as much a part of her family as anyone with two legs.

 Above all, Shawna knew the Lord as her personal Savior, and we take comfort in knowing that she now sits at the feet of Jesus. While our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice in the promise of seeing her again.

 Shawna’s love, strength, and unwavering kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

 Survivors include; husband, Richard Carter of Graham; daughters, Becky Dilbone and Chad of Rushsylvania, OH, Shalena Hooie and Don of Crossville, TN, Jodie Flagle and Zak of Granger, IN, and Shana Posey and Tom of Graham; son, Samuel Easter and Rachel of Graham; brother, Jerry Bradshaw of Wichita Falls; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

 Shawna was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Bradshaw and a son Matthew Carter. 

 Family visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
