Shirley Hazelwood

Shirley Hazelwood, 69, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 in Graham.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Shirley was born March 4, 1946 to Thomas and Ola Fay (Grimes) Rose, the oldest of two girls.  Shirley was a faithful wife, a loving mother, and a dedicated sister.  She often took a place of another, a teacher if needed, a mother to all, a father, a sister, or a friend, no other will ever take the place of her.  She touched the lives of those she came in contact with and will be greatly missed.  Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Rose, mother, Ola Fay Rose, and sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Sutton.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Hazelwood; three daughters, LeAnn (Smith) Satterfield and husband, Richard Satterfield of Desdemona, Amber Murray of Abilene, and Rosemary Rodriguez of Abilene; She has ten grandkids, Thaddaus and Arwen Hazelwood, Leela and Lia Smith, Landon Satterfield, Alexis Rodriguez, Ezra Rodriguez, Ezekiel Zapata, Relene Zapata, and Jesse Zapata.  Shirley has one niece, Brandy Licon, who loved her dearly.
