Shirley Louise Irvin

Shirley Louise Irvin, 81, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Graham.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Shirley was born April 17, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late David Allen and Marian P. (Conway) Niday.  She married Claude Irvin May 28, 1954 at her home in Sterling, Kansas and he preceded her in death March 19, 2015.  They had two sons there before moving to Texas in 1958 and finally settling in Graham.  Shirley was a bookkeeper working for Charles Christopher for 35 years and S&S Ranch for 10 years.   

Survivors include: daughter, Denise Moreland and husband, Johnnie of Graham; sons, David Irvin and wife, Nannie of Lubbock, Doug Irvin and wife, Stephanie of Nocona, and Danny Irvin and wife, Evelyn of Rockledge, FL, formerly of League City; grandchildren, David Irvin, Jr., Doug Irvin, Jr., Autumn Reo, Chance Moreland, and Evan Irvin; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends and neighbor Mike and Angie Shifflett.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Allen Niday.

Memorials may be made to Rathgeber Hospitality House in Wichita Falls.
