Sue Martin Rowe, 83, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church with Richard Segars officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Sue was born November 8, 1928 in Young County, Texas to the late Richard Steven and Ima Lea (Martin) Christal. Sue as a child lived with and was raised by her grandmother Ella Martin and her uncle and aunt Myrl and Grace Martin. Sue married Glenn Rowe, July 18, 1947 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1991. Sue was a piano and voice teacher for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, King's Daughter Sunday School Class, Lake Country RV Club, and Graham Organ Guild. She enjoyed her family, water skiing, go-cart racing and had a love for Christ.

Survivors include; three sons, Glenn E. Rowe, Jr., Gary Rowe and J.J. McClendon, and Garrell Rowe all of Graham; four grandchildren, Amy Ward and T.J., Casey Rowe and Valerye, Shelly Forrest and Jason, and Mark Rowe and Lindsay; six great grandchildren, Kody Keeter, Amelia Rowe, Saunders and Mary Jane Forrest, Kinsley Rowe, and Charlotte Ward.

Sue was preceded in death by a brother, James Christal.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church meals for bereaved families fund or Happy Hill Farm Academy/Home in Granbury.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
