Susan Lyn Vann

Susan Lyn Vann, 54, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Susan was born on March 17, 1957 in Wichita Falls to the late Claudie Jerald and Ruby Joyce (Rosser) Smith. She married Roger Vann on April 1, 1988 in Wichita Falls. Susan worked in education at Forrestburg ISD and Celina ISD and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montague.

Survivors include: husband, Roger Vann of Graham; daughter, Chelsie Seyler and husband, Blake of Graham; granddaughter, Raylie Ann Seyler of Graham; sister, Vicki Barnett and husband Bobby of Sanger; brother, Mike Smith and wife, Cheryl of Montague; mother-in-law, Ann Vann McCarley of Wichita Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Barton Wayne Smith and father-in-law, Ray Lee McCarley.

Memorials may be made to the Young County Humane Society.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
