Ted King Pierce Jr., 81, of Graham, Texas passed away June 15, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00am at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Ted was born March 22, 1932 in Archer City, Texas to the late Ted King and Ada (Huffman) Pierce Sr. He married Nellie Gean Johnston on June 30, 1966 in Archer City. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2011. Ted had served in the National Guard and was retired from Echo Production as a truck driver and mechanic.
Survivors include: sons; Carl Glenn Johnston and wife Pam of Grand Prairie, Rickie Wayne Johnston and wife Nancy of Graham, daughter; Carla Lynn Dorsey of Graham, sister; Nathala Joyce "Dootsie" Moody and husband Darrell of San Antonio, brother; Bobby Dale Pierce and wife Sandra of Lewisville. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
