Texas Pauline McCarroll

Texas Pauline McCarroll, 88, passed away on April 15, 2015 in Graham, TX.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:00pm in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Texas was born on November 30, 1926 in Wheeler, Texas. After finishing Wheeler High School, Texas attended college in Edmond, Oklahoma for 2 years and married Fred McCarroll on December 9, 1945.

Texas and Fred were always an adventurous couple. They farmed and ranched in South Dakota, Brazil and Portugal and moved to Graham in 1995.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Joy McCarroll, infant daughter, Marla McCarroll, her parents, Henry O. and Virginia Miller, brother S.D. Miller and wife Cris and son-in-law Antonio Pinto Rodrigues.

She is survived by her son Fred J. and wife Eloisa McCarroll of Brazil; daughter Dee Pinto Rodrigues of Graham; grandchildren, Patrick and wife Patricia McCarroll, Karina McCarroll,  Talitha and husband Marcelo Coelho of Brazil, Marla Pinto Rodrigues and fiancé Richard Sitar of Vienna, Austria and Manuel and wife Zahra Pinto Rodrigues of Plano;  eight great grandchildren;  sister-in-law Mary Dodd of Wheeler; nieces and nephews Mark Miller of Borger, C.G. and Rosemary Dodd of Wheeler, Jacque Foreman of Ohio, and Diane and Jack Cody of Graham.
