T.J. Williams

Tommy "T.J." Williams, 82, of Graford, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Kent Goree officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Desdemona Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

T.J. was born on June 18, 1928 in Desdemona to the late Doyle A. and Elizabeth (Northcutt) Williams. He married Gladys M. Baskett on January 22, 1949 in Eastland. T.J. was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a distributor for Shoreline Boat Trailers in Arlington and Houston.

Survivors include: wife, Gladys M. Williams of Graford; niece, Paula Robinson; nephews, Larry Marine and Johnny Marine; great niece, Rene Shahan; great nephews, Justin Shahan, Cory Shahan, and John Robinson; great great nephews, Luke Shahan and Austin Shahan.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sammie Salicco.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
