Tommie Jewell Standifer Wood

Tommie Jewell Standifer Wood, 77, of Graham died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at a local care center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Crestview United Methodist Church with Reverend J.B. McCracken officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Tommie was born October 10, 1933 in Olney, Texas to the late G.E. and Brookie Mae (Louder) Standifer. She married John Harold Wood on January 30, 1953 in Graham. Tommie was a member of Salem Crestview United Methodist Church and a housewife.

Survivors: husband, John Harold Wood of Graham, daughter, Angela Jean Perkins of San Antonio, sister, Bonnie Bussey of Graham, brothers, Bill Standifer of Breckenridge, Troy Standifer of Dallas and Guy Standifer of Oregon, granddaughter, Jennifer Franzen, great grandchildren, Katelyn and Taylor Franzen. Tommie was preceded in death by a son Stephen Wood in 1990.
