Tommy Edwards

Tommy Joe Edwards, 75, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eastside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Tommy was born February 28, 1939 in Graham to the late Samuel Harrison and Ollie L. (Free) Edwards. He married Marlene Bavousett April 8, 1961 in Graham. He graduated from Graham High School and worked for TXU as a lineman for 40 years and with J & J Electric for 5 years. Tommy was a veteran of the United States Army, 49th Armored Division and the National Guard for 6 years. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ, Graham and Wichita Falls Photography Clubs and worked with Band Boosters for many years.

Survivors include: wife, Marlene Edwards of Graham; sons, Rick Edwards and wife, Sonya of Graham, Doug Edwards Patricia White of Jackson, Michigan, and Greg Edwards and wife, Megan of Graham; grandchildren, Jake Edwards and wife, Trisha, Matt Edwards, Austin Edwards, Jaden Edwards, Madison Edwards, and Brittany Ootton; 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Eastside Church of Christ Senior Adult Program or a charity of your choice.
