Tommy Lee Mitchell

Tommy Lee Mitchell, 76, of Graham, Texas passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in Alexander Cemetery in Erath County, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Tommy was born February 11, 1936 in Levita, Texas to the late Carl Cowen and Loere Lee Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell moved to Graham in 1966 from Stephenville. He married Lynette Hutchins, May 28, 1993 in Graham. Tommy was a retired Special Investigator for the Texas Rangers. He was a Rancher and horse trainer and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include; wife, Lynette Mitchell of Graham; daughters, Lee Ann Edwards and husband Larry of Levelland, Lisa Mitchell of Graham; son, Joe Mitchell and wife Beverly of Yukon, Oklahoma; daughter, Sheri Widner and husband Tony of Graham thirteen grandchildren and ten and 2/3 great grandchildren; brother, Don Mitchell of Alexander, Texas; sisters, Carolyn Tatum and husband Marvin of Manteca, CA., Carla Ramsay of Stephenville, Texas.

Tommy was preceded in death by a daughter, Shayla Dewbre and a beloved sister-in-law, Lola Mitchell.

The Family will greet friends at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
