Jack Anthony "Tony" Brittain, 59, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Waco. Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Graham.
He was born December 5, 1953 to Jack Baird Brittain and Roberta Myers Brittain in Graham, Texas. He attended Graham High School and was baptized at Oak Street Baptist Church. He married Susan Ainsworth, July 11, 1975 in Graham. He enjoyed many different occupations and he ended up in Wortham, Texas working with the Railroad. One of his greatest joys was working on cars and motorcycles with his son Heath. He could often be seen on his Honda Goldwing.
Survivors include; wife, Susan Brittain of Wortham; daughter, Suzette Brittain of Groesbeck; sons, Jack Brittain and his wife Emily of Houston and Heath Brittain of Wortham; six grandchildren, Dylan Platt, Rylie Platt and Fallyn Nabors of Groesbeck, Jackson Brittain, Audrey Brittain and Alexander Brittain of Houston; sister, Vicky Cates of Abilene; brother, Steve Brittain of Fort Worth; three sisters- in- laws, Debra Reed of Wichita Falls, Karan Conklin and her husband Kevin of Grapevine and LuAnne Ainsworth of Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Roberta Brittain; his sister, Lynn Brittain Wicker, brother, Anthony Ross Brittain and a daughter Sherry Burkett.
The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends.
