Travis Lee Montgomery

Travis Lee Montgomery, 73, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 in Graham. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Travis was born October 19, 1946 in Jacksboro to the late Eugene Hilton and Dorothy Lucille (Owen) Montgomery. He married Sherry Marie Elliott March 6, 1974 in Graham. Travis was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam and worked for Don's Butane Service. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and was an avid reader.

Survivors include: wife, Sherry Montgomery of Graham; daughters, Shannon Bay and husband, Tim of Graham, Julie Easter and husband, Ricky of Jacksboro, and Lisa Everett and husband, Jake of Throckmorton; son, Steven Montgomery and wife, Mandy of Jarrell; mother-in-law, Janice Elliott of Graham; brother, William Montgomery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by brother, Donald Montgomery and father-in-law, Melvin Elliott.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
