Troy Lee Cameron

Troy Lee Cameron, 84, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Graham.  Funeral services will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.  Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Troy was born February 26, 1933 in Cookville to the late Virgie and Vera Mae (Winkle) Cameron.  He married Hazel Strait February 5, 1970 in Perrin and she preceded him in death May 5, 2011.  Troy was a Rancher and retired from Young County Precinct 2.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Survivors include: daughter, Susie Spitzer and husband, Ty of Newcastle; son Michael Cameron of Euless; sister, Bernice Anderson and husband, Bill of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Shae Humphrey and husband, Chevy of Newcastle, Courtney Hantz and husband, C.J. of Gilmer; great grandchild, Kynlee Humphrey of Newcastle.

He was preceded in death by a son Mitchel Cameron.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
