Truman L. Hawkins, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hawkins Chapel in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Truman was born on February 8, 1930 in Loving to the late Walter Lloyd and Ludie (Cross) Hawkins. He married Daphne Speer on June 10, 1950 in Graham. Truman graduated from Graham High School in 1947. He had lived in Fort Worth and Odessa where he had been a Service Manager at Automotive Dealerships.
Survivors include: wife, Daphne Hawkins of Loving; son, Ron Hawkins and wife, Teresa of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Karen Hawkins of Peaster; sisters, Fern Haggart of Fisher, Il and Faye Griffin of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Charlie Hawkins, Cheryl Ham, Amanda Hawkins, and Andrew Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Hawkins in 2002.
