Vernon Hazelton

Vernon Hazelton, 92, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00am at the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Vernon was born January 15, 1923 in Graham to the late George Oliver and Iola (Bullard) Hazelton. He married Wanda Maxine Jackson on May 6, 1966 in Fort Worth. Vernon was a motel owner and operator. He was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church and the Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include: wife; Wanda of Graham, daughters; Bonnie Beasley and husband J.C. of Graham, Velda Black and husband Ken of Pueblo, CO., step-daughters; Mary Hazelton of Graham and Lue Swaim of Tyler. Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. Vernon was preceded in death by a son Randall Hazelton and seven brothers.
