Viola Goebel

Viola Olga Mae Rektorik Goebel was born on June 3, 1924 in Moravia, Texas.  She lived most of her life in South Texas, primarily Schulenburg.  She died on April 5, 2016, at "almost 92" in Graham.  She was the beloved wife of LeRoy Goebel and loving mother of Gail Goebel Stephens.  She loved her grandchildren and their spouses, Jarrod and Laura Stephens, Scott and Natalie Stephens and Cara and Geoff Dziuda.  Her great granddaughters Willa Mae and Hattie Lee Stephens brought a smile to her even to the end.

She will be remembered in our hearts.  She let us know she wanted to be remembered alive so there will be no services and the family requests no flowers be sent.  She will be buried in the family plot in Schulenburg, Texas.  If anyone desires, remember her through the American Alzheimer's Association or the Young County Animal Shelter.
