Violet Lynn Alaniz

Violet (Vicky) Lynn Hayes Alaniz, age 67, passed away in Graham on Friday, December 8, 2023. A graveside memorial will be held at Gooseneck Cemetery on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Violet was born on June 7, 1956 in Brady, TX to Chester Hayes and Francis (Gann) Cobb.

Violet was a fun loving, kindhearted, free spirit.

She always lived life to the fullest.

She was always a friend to everyone, she loved to see others happy and touched a lot of lives along the way.

Vicky was one of them moms that was mom to everyone.

She loved to sing and dance to the oldies and country music. Her favorite color was purple, she loved butterflies, and her 2 dogs Buster brown/Eva.

Her favorite things were to go out to eat with her kids and grandkids, her favorite food was Mexican and Chinese and she always had to have ice cold sweet tea. Loved playing mobsters on Facebook.

She could never tell her grandkids no and loved to spoil them as much as she could.

Violet Always thought of herself as a hopeless romantic that had a few true loves, but in the end, there was one that kept her heart.

“No one in your life will ever love you as your mother does. There is no love as pure, unconditional, and strong as a mother’s love”

God saw you getting tired, so, he put his arms around you, and whispered, “come with me”

With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not ask you to stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Rangel of Nevada, Timothy Rangel of Texas, Jacob Rangel of Oklahoma, and Christina Rangel of Texas; siblings, Stella Hayes of Texas, Debbie Mooney of Alabama, Terry Hayes of Texas, and Billy Hayes of Texas; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Hayes, Francis cobb (Her Best Friend) and siblings, Kenneth Hayes, and Lisa Cobb.
