Vivian Carter

Vivian Carter, 75, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Wichita Falls. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the Oasis of Grace Church with pastor Larry Milhollon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Vivian was born July 18, 1933 in Bossier City, Louisiana to the late Shad and Mildred (Walker) Shadions. She married Richard A. Carter August 15, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas. Vivian moved to Graham in 1987 from Fort Worth, Texas. She was a retired waitress and a member of Trinity Christian Church.

Survivors include; husband, Richard A. Carter of Graham; daughter, Carolyn Sue Craig of Graham; son, Donald Wayne Miller of Graham; sister, Glenda Faye Oster of Lake Bistineau, LA.; brothers, James Ronald Johnson of Bossier City, LA. and Roy Walker, Jr. of Shreveport, LA.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Vivian was preceded in death by son, John Richard Miller and a grandson, Chad Everett Miller.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
