Wanda Cook

Wanda Ray Cook, 88, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Graham.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Bethel Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Wanda was born July 7, 1935 in Vashti to the late Ray Elmo and Vivian Valrea (White) Morrow.  She married Jack Allen Cook July 31, 1953 in Graham and they celebrated 70 years of marriage this year.  She retired from Graham Savings and Loan but in her retirement she could often be found at the County Clerk's Office filling in when needed.  She and Jack enjoyed traveling to Arkansas for extended periods of camping and crappie fishing with their many friends. 

Survivors include: husband, Jack Cook of Graham; son, Jackie and wife Shauna of Olney; grandchildren, Brandon Cook and wife, Crystal of Olney, Lindsey Dougless and husband, Eric of Ft. Hood; seven great grandchildren: Makayla Osborn and husband, Sean, Makenzie Rubin and husband, Michael, Tarynn Hearne, Cody Cook, Peyton, Colton and Harper Douglas; five great-great grandchildren: Grayson, Leighton and Beckham Osborn, Brooks and Dylan Rubin.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Nathan Cook and brother, Jerry Don Morrow.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church.
