Wanda Belvin Johnson, passed away in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 26, 2012 after a brief illness. Services will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29,2012. Interment will be at the Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Wanda is survived by her husband of twenty years, Bobby Johnson, of Graham, Texas; her children, Steven Biehl and his wife Suzanne of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Lisa Biehl Shepherd and her husband Worth of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bobby Dale Johnson and his wife Brenda, Billy Jack Johnson both from Elk City, Oklahoma, and Angela Rynette Smith and her husband Mike of Bridgeport, Texas; her grandchildren Hailey Shepherd, Nicole Smith-Robertson, Casey Smith, Lashea Maddox, Dustin Maddox, Joie Johnson,Bradley Johnson, Blake Johnson; her brothers Richard Belvin of Midland, Texas, and Bill Belvin of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and her sister, Peggy Belvin Gordon of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Doyle Belvin and Ruby Dollie Griffin Belvin of Artesia, New Mexico; her brothers, Stanley Rube Belvin and Jimmy Doyle Belvin, and her sister, Sharon Belvin Smith Bowman.

Wanda was born on December 12, 1940 in her parent's home in Roswell, New Mexico. She was the fourth child of a family of seven. She lived most of her life in Artesia, New Mexico and graduated from Artesia High School in 1958. Her senior year of high school she was a member of D.E.C.A., the Distributive Education Club of America, and through this organization worked her senior year at First National Bank of Artesia. This ushered in a 27 year career at First National Bank, which culminated in her position as a vice president in the commercial loan department.

Her hobbies were quilting, cross stitching and sewing. She loved visiting with her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and having them feel tall as they measured their height compared to her.
