Weldon Potts

Weldon Potts, 86, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Burleson.  Funeral services will be Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Weldon was born July 28, 1930 in Jack County to the late Hugh Dinsmore and Ada (Ainsworth) Potts.  He married Ruby Dean Ashburn August 6, 1955 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  Weldon worked for Heath Electric as an Electrician and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include: wife, Ruby Potts of Graham; daughter, Pam Hinson of Mansfield; sister, Virgie Young and husband, Sterman of Post; brother, J.R. Potts and wife, Reta of Graham; grandchildren, Monica Whitehead and Noal Hinson; great grandchildren, Monty Whitehead, Chase Hinson, Brooklyn Hinson and Meagan Dean Hinson.

He was preceded in death by brothers, C.L. and Vernon Potts.
