Wendell Ray Gardenhire

Wendell Ray Gardenhire, 53, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Wichita Falls. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Wendell was born on February 16, 1958 in Los Angeles, California to Troy Cash and Rosa Wiley Gardenhire. He married Debbie Casteel on April 5, 1979 in Graham. Wendell worked in the oilfield.

Survivors include: mother, Rosa Montgomery of Hale Center, Texas; wife, Debbie Gardenhire of Graham; daughter, Alexia Sweedler and husband, Chris of Graham; grandson, Cy Sweedler of Graham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Gardenhire, sister, Rhonda Strahan, and brother, Robert Gardenhire.
