William "Bill" Murray

William "Bill" Murray, 73, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Fort Worth. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Nicewonger of New Life Fellowship Church in Keller, Texas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bill was born November 27, 1935 in Tahoka, Texas to the late William Lewis and Frances Jerldene Giles Murray. He married Clydena Sue Wallace July 1, 1955 in Tahoka, Texas. Bill was a former resident of Odessa where he was manager for Midas Muffler for 37 years. He moved to Possum Kingdom Lake in 1996 from Odessa.

Survivors; wife, Dena Murray of P.K. Lake; daughters, Karen LaBruyere and husband Randall of N. Richland Hills, Sharon Johnson and husband Al of Alvord, Carrie Woodfin and husband Kip of Midland; son, Michael Murray and wife Debbie of Brookesmith; sister, Frances Jones of Amarillo; brother, Bobby Murray of Avondale, AZ.; eleven grandchildren, Cody, Mark, Summer, Michael, Scotty, Josh, Chase, Braden, Jaci, Amber, and Tiffany; one great grandchild, London; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Cook Children's Hospital.
