Wilma J. Willard

Wilma J. Willard, 75, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Wilma was born on April 3, 1936 in Jean to the late William A. and Jewel I. (Grubbs) Thomas. She married Ralph H. "Cooney" Willard on May 5, 1956 in Graham. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2000. Wilma retired from Hexcel and was a former employee of Media Recovery in Graham. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Pamela Gilmore and husband, Larry of Graham; son, Richard Willard and wife, Rita of Burkburnett; brother, Roy Thomas and wife, Nancy of Graham; sister, Janie Yarbrough of Fort Worth; three grandchildren, Shana Prenushi, Leslie Ray and Lisa Willard; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
